Simone Biles is not just the most decorated Olympian of all time. She is an icon, an inspiration for millions of people out there. The 25-year-old gymnast has been the center of attention since her engagement with the Houston Texans star, Jonathan Owens, on Valentine’s day last month. However, now the Olympic champion is amongst the kids for a special reason.

 

To celebrate Simone’s 25th birthday, the couple went on a trip to Turks and Caicos and pictures of their trip were all over their social media.

 

 

Although the date of their wedding is not out yet, but as per the preparation going on, it might be somewhere near. Simone Biles shared a special message for second graders

 

 

Simone Biles sends message to Kemp Elementary students

In a video uploaded by Dayton Public Schools on their Facebook page, the US Olympian is talking to the second graders of the school. The Gymnast said, “Your teacher shared the picture of your amazing classroom door decorated with the images of me for black history month competition. I wanted to let you all know that I am so honored that you choose me and I really appreciate it. Thank you so much and I’ll be rooting for you.”

The video certainly would have made kids jump in the air with joy. What could be more amazing than hearing from your hero on a school project? That seems like a dream for every school kid.

The Figure skater inspired by Biles

The Canadian figure skater, Kirsten Moore-Towers, recently took a decision about her career that she revealed was inspired by Olympic champion, Simone Biles. Kirsten pulled out from the World Figure Skating Championship currently taking place in France because she didn’t feel comfortable competing in the championship.

 

 

She has been struggling with certain moves since the Olympic season and decided she needed to give it a break. As revealed by the figure skater, Simone Biles’ Tokyo Olympics incident inspired her decision to prioritize herself over esteemed glory.
