The gymnastics GOAT recently revealed that she pens down her thoughts in a journal, which helps her to reflect on the problems she faces. Moreover, Biles spoke about how the practice has helped her in recent times.

Simone noted how she sat down for an hour a day and reflected on the thoughts that caused her to feel anxious. The gymnast spoke to PEOPLE about her problems and how she found a way to tackle those issues.

 

 

“I have pretty bad anxiety sometimes so she (her therapist) tells me in my worry journal to put from 12 to 1 p.m. — that’s the time I’ve selected — and anything I’ve written down in my worry journal, I use that hour to worry about the things then. And usually by the time 12 or 1 [p.m.] comes, I’ve already forgotten about all my worries so that kind of is a tool that helps me,” said Biles.

 

 

Simone famously withdrew from the team artistic gymnastics competition in Tokyo, citing mental health concerns. Ever since, the practice of maintaining a journal has helped her focus on other things in life apart from gymnastics.
