Serena Williams is considering retiring from tennis. This told the youngest of the Williams sisters to the Bloomerang media at the Super Bowl, where the tennis player was busy for a commercial. On that occasion, the winner of 23 Grand Slams talked about her future, between entrepreneurship and the desire to expand her family.
It is since Wimbledon that Serena Williams has not played a match on the WTA Tour: in the first round of the English Grand Slam, the American was forced to retire due to injury.
Since then, the current WTA number 247 she has not yet returned to the tennis courts; for this reason, Bloomerang admitted to the media that she was thinking about the retirement hypothesis: “I love to play tennis, but I know I can’t do it for the rest of my life.”
The former world number one has been thinking about leaving tennis for years. Serena said: “I’m ready for that day. I’ve been preparing for that day for more than a decade.
I think it’s very important to always have a plan, and I’ve always had a plan.”
