Packers RB Aaron Jones Makes Passionate Plea to Aaron Rodgers for this reason

Aaron Rodgers has been a force to reckon this season. He’s led the Green Bay Packers to yet another successful season. And now that his one-year extended contract with the Packers has come to an end, rumors have it he might be off to a different franchise ahead of the 2022 season.

Though the 38-year-old quarterback hasn’t decided yet, he is about to disclose his plans soon.

During his interview at the NFL honors, the quarterback revealed that it’s time for him to announce his plans, and he will do it pretty soon since he does not want his teammates to suffer from it.

The free agency is set scheduled to start on March 16, and Rodgers plans to give his teammates enough time to make their own decisions. So one can expect the quarterback to announce plans soon after the Super Bowl. Though many want him to play for other big franchises, many will be heartbroken if he parts ways with the team. One of them is his teammate running back, Aaron Jones.

This desperate appeal from the Packers’ RB just exclaims how much the team looks up to Rodgers. He was recently named the AP NFL MVP for the fourth time, proving that he has had a fruitful season with the franchise despite the tumultuous offseason with them. The 38-year-old was seemingly happy with the Green Bay front office while receiving his honor. This made many think if he was, in fact, staying with them.

Rodgers appreciated Mark, Brian, and Russ for their support. But it is still to be seen if he would stay in Green Bay or set out to explore other teams.
