Simone Biles’ Gets Crazy With Joy as Her Boyfriend Jonathan Owens Earns Huge NFL Career Bump; See How She Celebrated Him in a Video She Posted

 

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles confirmed on Instagram that she has a new beau: NFL player Jonathan Owens. Biles, who was previously dating fellow gymnast Stacey Ervin Jr., shared a number of pictures of the couple and captioned the post, “It’s just us.”

 

In the first picture, Owens is seen standing over her as Biles puts a hand on his arm and in the second, Biles is pictured grinning as Owens kisses her on the neck. She also shared another picture of the couple to her Instagram Stories, in which the pair posed together as  Owens slung an arm around her shoulders.

Owens also shared Biles’ posts to his Instagram Stories, accompanied by a string of heart emojis and peace signs. Biles friends, including Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, piled into her comments to congratulate the couple with heart emojis as Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn called them “perfect in a picture.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, in previously expired Instagram Stories the couple was seen enjoying a lazy day as they drank wine, listened to music and baked brownies.

Previously, Biles was in a long term relationship with Stacey Ervin Jr.; a fellow gymnast. The couple were together for three years, however Biles revealed they split in early March at the start of the pandemic.

She said to Vogue, “It’s hard being young and having that long of a relationship and then ending it. But it was for the best.”

Biles future outing at the next Olympics remains uncertain, as it was announced the 2020 Summer Olympics would be postponed to 2021. However, it remains to be seen whether it will actually go ahead due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
